Joburg stroke support group
Just as a reminder, this coming Tuesday 1st, we will be at NICOLE DUFF PHYSIOTHERAPHY
for our weekly dose of exercise, fun, sharing, uplifting and supporting each other! 

Topic for discussion this week:
with the OT's will be: Driving - post stroke.
with Simone, our social worker:  Stages of Grief.
 
At our last session, it became very apparent that a deeper understanding of the stages of grief need to be explored. Over the next few weeks we will cover all the stages individually, starting with Denial.

The two hour session will be a combination of social/support time as well as an hour of activity.

 

We are inviting all stroke survivors and their family members or carers to join our support group meeting.
