About Stroke Survivors Foundation
The Stroke Survivors Foundation (SSF) has been in existence since 2010 and is registered as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) in terms of section 18A and section 30(3) of the Income Tax Act, no 58 of 1962 (Income Tax Act).
The organization uses a combination of nationwide multimedia campaigns, community-level outreach, clinical and psycho-social support services to address the issues of individual, societal and structural drivers of post hospital discharge stroke survival, recovery, adjusting and acknowledging the disabilities, both hidden and visible, for both the survivor and the family.

- Launching the referral program that will streamline the stroke survivor discharge process, and;
- The latest mobile app to bring the stroke community world wide together.
